Comprehensive Epilepsy Program
The goal of the program is to provide the most
advanced care for patients with seizures, and especially seizures that are
difficult to control.
The USF/TGH Epilepsy Program meets and exceeds
the guidelines for a fourth (highest) level medical and surgical epilepsy
center, based on guidelines established by the National Association of
Epilepsy Centers.
The USF/TGH Epilepsy Program is one of only four
centers in the state of Florida, and the only one in West Central Florida,
with this level of expertise.
With over 50 resective surgeries per year since 2003, we are now the highest volume surgical epilepsy center in
Florida.
We are committed to comprehensive diagnosis and
the most effective treatment for each patient.
